Artwork Specification

• Files can be transferred in the following formats: CD, ISDN & e-mail
  
  
• Files to be saved for Mac or PC in the following programmes:
  - Adobe Acrobat – pdf format
  - Illustrator – .eps .ai
  - Quark Xpress
  - PhotoShop – 1200dpi Bitmap
  
  
• When saving files in PC compatible format use the appropriate PC file extension, such as: .ai .tiff .eps .pdf .qxd
  Ensure all file extensions are named to determine software
  
  
• Where possible/required include all used picture files using “Flight Check” or similar
  
  
• Do not use LZW compression when saving tiff files
  
  
• Always convert fonts to outline paths [in Illustrator] or ensure fonts are attached with screen fonts – no orphan fonts
  
  
• Ensure graphics/scans of high resolution – Minimum 1200dpi for text & linework
  
  
• Greyscale, 4 colour/RGB are not suitable, 1200dpi Bitmap only
  
  
• All work will be processed at the size of supplied file unless clearly stated otherwise
  
  
• Artwork is preferred in a digital format but can be accepted as conventional film 

NOTE – Incomplete, vague or poor artwork will lengthen delivery dates and incur additional Studio costs.
