A brief history of Tomlinson Ltd
1927 - John A.A. Tomlinson started company.
1929 - Son Barrie Tomlinson joined his father.
1939 - Company incorporated as John Tomlinson (Processes) Ltd.
1964 - Company moved to new, purpose built premises in Oakland Road, Leicester.
1973 - Tomlinson Engraving Ltd. incorporated.
1987 -Tomlinson Ltd. formed from the two companies.
1996 - Copper Etching introduced.
1998 - Lynne Tomlinson-Hands joined the board.
1999 - Delivery of first CNC machine.
2000 and on - The Company continues to develop and expand the manufacturing base, delivering quality product to customers throughout the world.
